Tonight I wanted to work
with rim lighting. I set the light up against the living room wall at a
45-degree angle to Shannon and I stood so the camera would not see the fall off
lighting. In this way, you only get a very narrow line of light that is
illuminating Shannon's features. This is a good method used in portraiture when
you add a diffused light facing the model as well as the rim light.
